Templewhite Ltd is an independent RICS-regulated surveying practice based in Golders Green, providing pre-purchase property surveys and residential valuations across North London, West London and Hertfordshire.

Every survey is carried out by one of Templewhite’s co-founders and directors. From your first enquiry through to discussing the report, you’ll have direct access to an experienced surveyor throughout the process, from initial advice through to discussing your report. Jamie is a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer with almost 20 years' experience in residential property across North London, West London and Hertfordshire.
He specialises in RICS Level 3 Surveys (Building/Structural Surveys) and residential valuations for older, larger and more complex properties, particularly Victorian and Edwardian houses, substantially altered homes and higher-value residential properties.
Working extensively with period housing stock throughout areas such as Golders Green, Muswell Hill, Hampstead, Highgate and Finchley, Jamie focuses on helping buyers understand not only what defects are present, but why they have occurred, what they mean in practical terms, and what implications they may have for future maintenance and cost.
Clients value his ability to explain technical issues clearly and provide practical, grounded advice that supports confident decision-making.
Professional Background
Before co-founding Templewhite Ltd, Jamie worked within the North London residential property market and later held portfolio management responsibilities at Grainger PLC.
He also serves on the board of a boutique residential development company, advising on acquisitions, disposals and investment strategy.
This combined experience in surveying, property management and development provides practical insight into how condition, defects and maintenance requirements affect both property value and buyer decision-making.

Harriet is an Associate Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer specialising in RICS Level 2 Surveys (HomeBuyer Surveys) and residential valuations across North London, West London and Hertfordshire.
She works extensively with flats, leasehold properties, purpose-built developments and modern homes, helping buyers understand survey findings clearly and confidently.
